Howett AG

The architect Dieter Hosp built the Hotel Wettstein (3*) in 1968 and the Hotel Palazzo (4 *) in 1996, in the middle of Upper Kleinbasel, on Grenzacherstrasse. Both were renovated in 2016 and combined to form the “Hotel Wettstein” (3* Superior). Over the years, other properties were added, including furnished apartments in the “Wettstein Apartments” (formerly “ABC Apartment House & Property Management”).
Howett AG is the umbrella company for the “Hotel Wettstein” and the “Wettstein Apartments”. Howett AG's managing director and member of the board of directors is Didier Anderauer, who is the second generation to run the company after his uncle. He lives in Kleinbasel, is a member of the honorary society at Hären and he also carries on his ties to the neighbourhood by taking into account Kleinbasel suppliers and producers at his place of work.
